Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care across diverse medical settings, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal health outcomes. Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.
  • Administer medications and injections accurately following aseptic techniques, including IV infusions, medication administration, and suturing when necessary.
  • Manage complex care needs such as dialysis, ventilator support, tube feeding, and wound care including ostomy management.
  • Assist with diagnostic evaluations like laboratory specimen collection, phlebotomy, and imaging procedures such as sonography or mammography.
  • Provide specialized care for diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities, memory care patients, and those requiring hospice or palliative medicine.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in settings like ICU, trauma centers (Level I & II), emergency rooms, or outpatient clinics to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation adhering to HIPAA regulations and ensure compliance with NCQA standards and ICD coding requirements for billing and record keeping.

Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in the state of employment with current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Proven experience working in acute care environments such as ICU, emergency medicine, trauma centers, or hospital medicine.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner; experience with Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, aseptic techniques, and infection control protocols.
  • Experience working with specialized patient populations including those requiring long-term care, assisted living services, behavioral health support, or memory care.
  • Ability to perform complex procedures such as catheterization (urinary or cardiac), tube feeding management, and IV insertion with precision.
  • Excellent communication skills coupled with critical thinking and compassionate patient assessment abilities.
