About this role

KEDPLASMA is seeking a Registered Nurse for Specialty Programs to serve as the on-site clinical expert responsible for evaluating donor eligibility, managing donor reactions, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards during the plasma donation process. Responsibilities include conducting physical exams, assessing donor eligibility for plasmapheresis and immunization programs, reviewing donor health history and lab results, educating donors, administering immunizations, responding to donor reactions, maintaining emergency medical equipment, notifying donors of positive viral marker results, participating in safety committee activities, managing employee immunization programs, and assisting with plasmapheresis and whole blood procedures. Qualifications include current RN license in good standing, graduation from an accredited nursing program, current CPR certification, high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of healthcare experience preferred, and familiarity with FDA, OSHA, CLIA, and cGMP regulations.

Requirements

  • Current RN license in good standing
  • Must be a currently Registered Nurse in good standing in the state of practice. Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Current CPR certification. High school diploma, or equivalent. At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. Experience in plasma or blood collection is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to donor care and safety. Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations. Familiarity with FDA, OSHA, CLIA, and cGMP regulations is beneficial. Comfortable working in a regulated environment with exposure to bloodborne pathogens and cold storage areas.
