Join the clinical team at North Knoxville Medical Center as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Cardiac Stepdown. In this high-impact night-shift role, you will deliver specialized telemetry and progressive cardiac care, monitor complex patient conditions, and collaborate with a dedicated interdisciplinary care team.

- *Cardiac* *&* *Telemetry* *Care*: Deliver direct, high-quality patient care, monitor cardiac stats, and operate specialized medical equipment.
- *Medication* *&* *Treatment*: Safely administer medications, monitor side effects, and assist physicians with bedside procedures.
- *Patient* *Assessment* *&* *Safety*: Conduct thorough health assessments, maintain precise EHR records, and adhere to infection control and safety standards.
- *Care* *Coordination*: Partner with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to build, implement, and evaluate personalized care plans.
- *Emergency* *Response*: Quickly respond to changes in patient conditions, medical emergencies, and code team activities (CPR).
- *Patient* *Advocacy* & *Education*: Guide patients and families through diagnosis details, treatment protocols, and post-discharge recovery plans.
*requirements & certifications*
- 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support required
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation preferred
- Refer to facility or unit-specific guidelines for additional requirements.

- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) documentation and medication safety.
