About this role

Imagine yourself in a dynamic atmosphere where you'll work alongside world-renowned experts, learn new things every day, treat conditions that few medical professionals ever encounter, and have a vast range of career paths to choose from. Now imagine that in addition to all this, you have the chance to change lives every day. That’s what it means to be an Advanced Practice Provider at Mayo Clinic.

The Division of Allergy, Asthma and Clinical Immunology is proud to be able to care for patients across the life span from children through older adults. We have comprehensive programs in asthma, primary/secondary immunodeficiencies, environmental allergy and drug allergy including complex testing and desensitizations. The team is also highly dedicated to education with frequent medical student and resident rotations as well as ENT PA fellows and our own Allergy-Immunology fellows in partnership with Phoenix Children's Hospital.

The scope of the NP or PA who joins our practice will be based on their relevant training and interest. We may have a preference for candidates with the ability to work with both pediatric and adult populations. During the selection process you may participate in an OnDemand (pre-recorded) interview that you can complete at your convenience.

During the OnDemand interview, a question will appear on your screen, and you will have time to consider each question before responding. You will have the opportunity to re-record your answer to each question – Mayo Clinic will only see the final recording. The complete interview will be reviewed by a Mayo Clinic staff member and you will be notified of next steps.

Worth asking

We can’t answer these from the listing we have. Good ones to ask a recruiter or in the interview.

  • How does compensation work, including base pay and the productivity or RVU formula?
  • Are there differentials or other recurring incentives?
  • Does the employer cover malpractice and tail coverage, plus CME, licensing, and DEA support?
  • What should I expect for shifts, weekly hours, weekend, holiday, call, and rotation?
