Registered Nurse - Level II Surgery | Part Time

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, professional nursing care to patients before, during, and following in-office procedures.

• Assist providers with procedures and other clinical needs as requested.

• Monitor patients during recovery and promptly identify and communicate any changes in patient condition.

• Maintain compliance with Level II surgical/procedural protocols , including ensuring required documentation, policies, equipment, and processes remain current and compliant with applicable state regulations .

• Maintain, clean, inspect, and assist with the upkeep of Level II equipment and supplies.

• Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the procedure and recovery rooms, maintaining the highest standards of infection prevention and control .

• Ensure appropriate supplies and equipment are available and prepared for scheduled procedures.

• Provide nursing coverage and clinical support for additional procedure days, as needed, including potential coverage on Tuesdays and Thursdays .

• Collaborate effectively with providers, medical assistants, and other members of the clinical team to promote efficient patient flow and a positive patient experience.

• Participate in maintaining a safe, organized, and professional clinical environment.

• Perform other nursing and clinical duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

• Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.

• Current, active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license .

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications .

• Minimum of 1 year of patient care experience preferred .

• Previous experience in orthopedics, spine, pain management, procedural nursing, or a similar specialty preferred .

• Previous PACU/recovery room experience preferred .

• Experience working in an ambulatory surgery or procedure setting is a plus.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to perform essential clinical duties, including:

• Frequent and repetitive bending, reaching, lifting, walking, squatting, pushing, and sitting.

• Standing and walking for extended periods throughout the workday.

• Occasional lifting, moving, and positioning of supplies and equipment.

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer may be required.

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance .
