Looking for a flexible nursing opportunity where you can make an impact without committing to a traditional full-time schedule?

Alluvion Health is seeking two Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) or Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Prevention Services team in registry/PRN positions. These nurses will provide flexible staffing support for off-site immunization clinics throughout Great Falls and surrounding communities.

You’ll help bring preventive healthcare directly to the people who need it by administering vaccines at seasonal influenza clinics and other community vaccination events held at workplaces, schools, and community locations.

This is a great opportunity for an LPN or RN who enjoys community-based nursing, wants scheduling flexibility, and is comfortable stepping into different environments to provide safe, efficient, and compassionate care.

What You’ll Do

As a Community Immunization Nurse, you will

Administer vaccines safely and accurately in accordance with established clinical protocols Provide nursing support at seasonal influenza clinics and other community immunization events Travel to workplaces, schools, and community locations for scheduled vaccination clinics Review appropriate health information and screening criteria prior to vaccine administration Educate patients about vaccines, potential side effects, and recommended follow-up Accurately document vaccine administration and required patient information Maintain appropriate infection prevention and safety practices Monitor patients for immediate reactions following vaccination and respond appropriately when needed Assist with vaccine clinic setup, flow, supplies, and breakdown Maintain vaccine integrity and follow applicable storage and handling procedures Provide professional, respectful, and compassionate service to individuals of all ages Work collaboratively with Prevention Services staff and other members of the vaccination team Follow Alluvion Health policies, clinical procedures, confidentiality requirements, and applicable regulatory standards What We’re Looking For

You’ll be successful in this position if you are

Comfortable administering immunizations Confident working independently in community and off-site settings Flexible and able to adapt to changing clinic locations and staffing needs Organized and attentive to documentation and clinical details Comfortable working with individuals of different ages and backgrounds Professional, dependable, and able to represent Alluvion Health positively in the community Able to communicate clearly and provide patient education in an easy-to-understand manner Committed to patient safety, confidentiality, and quality care Able to work effectively as part of a mobile or community-based healthcare team Education & Licensure

Candidates must have

Current, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license valid to practice in Montana Current BLS certification Ability to administer vaccines within the scope of applicable nursing licensure Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to off-site clinic locations

Previous experience with immunizations, public health, community health, occupational health, school nursing, or vaccination clinics is preferred.

Registry Schedule

This is a registry/PRN position, meaning hours are offered based on the staffing needs of Prevention Services and scheduled community vaccination clinics.

Immunization clinic needs are expected to be greatest during the fall and spring seasons. Work will occur at various off-site locations, including:

  • Worksites
  • Schools
  • Community organizations and events
  • Other community vaccination locations

Registry positions do not have guaranteed hours and are intended to provide flexible staffing support as needs arise.
