Experienced PAT RN needed on a PRN basis for a high volume, multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center.

This position is for PRN, Monday-Friday 7am-5pm (flexible).

Salary Range: $41.00 - $53.00 per hour, based on skill and experience level.

General summary of

Duties

Pre-Admission Testing Registered Nurse is responsible for contacting incoming patients to obtain and review health history. Analyze and assess clinical data related to the patient’s anesthesia risk and appropriateness of ASC site of service. Orders additional testing needed prior to surgery when necessary. Conducts pre-admission assessments. Obtain clearances and testing for procedures.

Requirements

  • Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing; current state RN License.
  • CPR required.
  • BLS required.
  • Minimum one year in pre-operative, intra-operative or post-operative surgical patient care.
