Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate care to residents within the long-term care setting, following LPN scope of practice.
- Monitor, document, and report patient status, including vital signs, medication administration, and response to treatments.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, ensuring safety, dignity, and comfort.
- Collaborate with registered nurses and the interdisciplinary team to implement and update individualized care plans.
- Respond promptly to changes in condition, escalating concerns to the supervising clinician as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the charting system and adhere to all infection control and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license
- Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
- Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred
- Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills
- Ability to meet standard compliance and safety requirements for a travel assignment
- Eligibility to work in the United States and participate in a travel assignment
