Description:
Position Summary
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) plays a key role in supporting occupational health services through onsite employer events. This position is responsible for preparing vaccines, assisting with patient flow, documenting immunizations, and providing patient education. The LVN helps deliver efficient, high-quality care while ensuring a positive patient experience and maintaining the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and clinical excellence.
Location: Must be flexible to cover employer onsites throughout Salinas, Hollister, King City, Soledad, Santa Maria, Templeton, Watsonville and Santa Cruz areas
Schedule:
PRN, as needed for employer onsite events
Compensation:
Starting compensation range is $28.00-$34.00 hourly. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
Responsibilities
Administer?vaccines?in?accordance?with?established?clinical?protocol.
Perform?blood?draws?and?specimen?collection?as?requested
Place?and?read? PPD?(TB)?tests
Conduct? EKGs?and?ensure?accurate?documentation?of?results
Support?onsite?service?requests?as?needed
Maintain?proper?documentation?in?accordance?with?company?and?regulatory?standards
Adhere?to?infection?control?and?safety?guidelines?at?all?times
Perform?additional?duties?as?assigned.?
Requirements:
Active? LVN?license?in?good?standing?
Certification?in? Basic? Life? Support?(CPR)?required
Bilingual?in? Spanish?preferred
Experience in FMCSA consortium a plus
