About this role
The New Graduate Registered Nurse has the opportunity to strengthen their knowledge and skill in the practice of nursing under the direct supervision of registered nurse preceptor. The New Graduate Registered Nurse performs direct and indirect patient care functions. This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.
The New Graduate Registered Nurse will be automatically enrolled in the New Graduate Nurse Residency Program, and participation in and successful completion of the program is required. This one-year program facilitates the nurse's transition to independent practice and provides additional support through monthly seminars and formalized mentorship.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred. Current AHA BLS certification required upon hire or transfer. AHA ACLS required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
