About this role
The Pre-Admission Testing Program works in partnership with the Same Day Surgery Department, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Operating Room, and CM Anesthesia staff to collaboratively design a plan of care for each surgical patient. The Surgical Clearinghouse is a call center that provides a central location for peri-operative coordination of care. Registered nurses provide illness management and health promotion for patients and families who require care. Registered staff nurses utilize the nursing process and knowledge of scientific principles to provide safe, high quality, comprehensive, and age appropriate nursing care for their assigned patients.
