What You'll Do
Healthcare & Emergency Care: Provide direct healthcare and emergency care for people supported by Seven Hills Rhode Island, ensuring their health needs are met at home and in the community.
Health Assessments: Complete initial and annual health assessments for participants, ensuring up-to-date care plans tailored to their specific needs.
Health
Education
Educate participants and staff about health maintenance, medication administration, and specialized procedures.
Documentation & Records: Maintain confidential health records in accordance with regulations, ensuring all documentation is timely and accurate in the electronic health record system.
Medication & Treatment: Train non-nursing personnel on proper medication and treatment administration and oversee their compliance.
Multidisciplinary Team Collaboration: Work with a team of healthcare professionals, families, and agencies (e.g., BHDDH) to ensure continuous care and support.
On-Call
Responsibilities
Participate in the Nurse on-call system to provide 24-hour telephonic coverage on a rotating schedule.
Training & Support: Assist in the training and support of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and other team members on healthcare needs, procedures, and safety protocols.
Medical Appointments: Provide transportation to medical appointments, if necessary, and assist with scheduling and follow-up care.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with the Behavioral Healthcare, Developmental Disabilities, and Hospitals (BHDDH) standards and regulations.

Standard driver’s license – class C or class D
