Rocky Mountain Infectious Disease Specialists (RMIDS) is seeking an experienced and compassionate Float Registered Nurse (RN) to support our outpatient infusion centers across our Aurora, Littleton, and Lone Tree locations.

Locations: Aurora, Littleton & Lone Tree, CO

Join the RMIDS Infusion Team

This position is ideal for an RN looking for flexibility while remaining part of a collaborative clinical team. Our Float RN will provide coverage based on clinic and staffing needs, including scheduled coverage, PTO coverage, and additional support during higher patient volumes.

Our nurses work closely with Infectious Disease physicians while providing individualized care to patients receiving treatment for complex infections, including osteomyelitis, bacteremia, surgical-site infections, and other serious infectious diseases.

What You'll Do

Provide nursing care and documentation for outpatient infusion patients

Administer IV antibiotics and other ordered therapies

Insert and maintain peripheral IVs

Insert and maintain PICC lines

Monitor patients throughout treatment

Educate patients regarding IV antibiotic therapy and home administration

Collaborate closely with Infectious Disease physicians and clinical staff

Float between RMIDS locations based on staffing and patient-care needs

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care

Schedule

This is a Float/PRN position with a flexible schedule based on clinic needs and RN availability.

Typical weekday clinic hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM .

Float nurses may also assist with weekend and holiday coverage as needed. Weekend and holiday shifts begin at approximately 7:00 AM and generally end around midday depending on patient volume.

We are seeking an RN who is reliable, adaptable, confident, and compassionate and who can comfortably transition between multiple outpatient locations.

Strong IV skills are important. Previous experience with infusion therapy, PICC lines, vascular access, or Infectious Disease patients is highly valued.

Candidates must be comfortable traveling between our Aurora, Littleton, and Lone Tree locations based on staffing needs.
