Position Overview

This role involves providing compassionate patient care at a short-term inpatient psychiatric facility for adults. The nurse utilizes the nursing process to deliver individualized care, evaluate treatment effectiveness, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality. Responsibilities include performing nursing duties, ensuring quality care, and maintaining professional accountability in line with organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Utilize nursing skills to care for patients in a psychiatric setting. Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, medical providers, and nurses. Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly. Maintain patient confidentiality and rights. Support a team-oriented approach to mental health treatment.

Qualifications & Skills

Graduate from a recognized School of Nursing. Hold a current RN license in the state or compact licensure. Obtain and maintain American Heart Association Healthcare Provider certification or complete within probation. Possess relevant certifications as required by the role.
