Registered Nurse/CNA Instructor, Full-time

What You'll Do

As a CNA Instructor, you will

• Teach and facilitate learning in classroom, laboratory, and clinical environments
• Deliver instruction using our state-approved CNA curriculum
• Create an engaging, supportive, and inclusive learning experience for adult learners
• Demonstrate nursing skills and healthcare best practices
• Coach and mentor students as they develop clinical and professional competencies
• Evaluate student performance and provide meaningful feedback
• Maintain attendance, grades, and required program documentation
• Manage classroom dynamics and support student success
• Supervise students during clinical experiences and ensure safe patient care practices
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal training requirements
• Foster a culture of professionalism, compassion, accountability, and excellence

Compensation$32.00 - $34.00 per hour

Requirements

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications

Active, unrestricted Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse Minimum of one (1) year (1,600 hours) of nursing experience in a long-term care setting within the past five (5) years (required by State of Michigan regulations) Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills Passion for teaching, mentoring, and developing future healthcare professionals

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supervising CNAs or nurse aides
• Previous teaching, training, precepting, or adult education experience
• Experience working with diverse adult learner populations
