LPN Hourly Pay: Day shift: $29.30 - $31.28/hour Evening and night shift: $31.30 - $33.28/hour Pay commensurate with experience Additional $1.50/hour weekend • shift differential available RN Hourly Pay: Day shift: $38.92 - $41.80/hour Evening and night shift: $42.42 - $45.56/hour Pay commensurate with experience Responsibilities - What you’ll do EXAMPLES OF WORK Assess, organize, and plan staff duties on assigned shift on assigned unit Assess needs of Veterans and ensures services are consistent with needs Implement Veteran MDS and care plan according to healthcare protocol Make rounds with the physician, inform of status of patients and receive instructions for care and treatment Transcribe and implement physician’s orders accurately Document accurately all nursing assessments, interventions, and evaluations in electronic medical record (EMR) Give medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician accurately with follow-up observations Assist Veteran with various needs such as transferring, positioning, transporting, feeding, promoting elimination, toileting, bathing and showering, etc. Assist Veteran upon admission and/or discharge Participate in orientation of unit staff Qualifications - All you need for success QUALIFICATIONS Licensure as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in Missouri, in good standing, or A recent graduate of an accredited nursing program may practice as a graduate nurse until results of first licensure examination are received or until 90 days after graduation, whichever occurs first, as allowed by the Missouri Board of Nursing Job Details - More reasons to love this position BENEFITS Enjoy a workplace where you can build lasting relationships with our Veterans and your co-workers Opportunities to learn and grow in your career with MO Veterans Commission 3 weeks paid vacation; 3 weeks paid sick leave; 13 paid holidays Health (medical, dental, vision) and free life insurance Retirement Up to $25/month match on savings plan 6 weeks paid leave for birth or adoption Contact Details - If you have questions or require any accommodations to participate in the application or interview process please contact: HOW TO REACH US Each MO Veterans Home has a recruiter on staff.
