Requirements

  • Valid RN license with current registration in the relevant state or jurisdiction
  • Proven experience in diverse clinical environments such as hospital medicine, emergency medicine, ICU/CCU, pediatric or neonatal units (PICU), or post-acute care settings
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy & physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9 & ICD-10), CPT coding, and HIPAA regulations
  • Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner
  • Demonstrated ability to perform complex procedures including IV insertion, phlebotomy, venipuncture, sterile processing techniques, and aseptic technique adherence
  • Critical thinking skills with experience in triage protocols and acute pain management
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays
  • Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, or PALS are required; additional certifications like DME or ostomy care are a plus
