Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate’s, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN license in the relevant state or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, NRP, or others as required based on department
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform bending, reaching, kneeling, and twisting activities
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process
- Evaluate care effectiveness and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
- Uphold patient rights, confidentiality, and safety standards
- Maintain necessary certifications and licensure to meet department requirements
