Bethel sits on Alaska's western frontier along the Kuskokwim River, far from the road system and reachable only by air or water. This Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta hub blends Yup'ik cultural heritage with modern healthcare needs, giving nurses a rare chance to serve a tight-knit, predominantly Alaska Native community.
