- Hourly Taxable: *$48/hr. on W2*
- OT Rate: *$120/hr.*

Requirements

- Minimum 1 year of experience within specialty.- *Required.*
- Current/Active NY license in hand.- *Required.*

*Duties*
- Prepare operating rooms by ensuring all surgical equipment, supplies, and sterile fields are ready for procedures.
- Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers during surgeries by providing necessary instruments and maintaining aseptic techniques.
- Monitor patient vital signs and overall condition throughout the perioperative process, responding swiftly to any changes.
- Administer medications, including IV infusions and injections, following strict protocols to manage pain or anesthesia requirements.
- Document all patient care activities accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner, ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Conduct preoperative assessments and educate patients about procedures to alleviate anxiety and promote understanding.
