About this role
Caring Hearts Hospice is seeking a compassionate and dedicated On-call registered hospice nurses to join our hospice team! You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of hospice patients. On-call hospice nurses will provide quality end-of-life care to patients in hospice settings, ensuring comfort and dignity during their final stages as well as on going scheduled visits as needed.

Hospice Philosophy
Hospice care is an interdisciplinary approach designed to meet the needs physical, psychological and spiritual of a person at the end of life with the goal of comfort and not cure. Hospice considers the unit of care to extend beyond the patient and include the family and caregivers as defined by the patient.
Responsibilities
Hospice care provides patients with the comfort and dignity they deserve through their end-of-life journey. This role requires daily driving in order to provide care where our patients call home, this could be a home setting, facility setting, etc.
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Must be licensed in the State of Oregon as a Registered Nurse.
- One year of RN experience. Hospice experience preferred.
- Must have excellent assessment skills and problem-solving skills.
- Must be a licensed driver with an insured automobile in good working order.
Job Type: Full-time Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm
