Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner licensed in Texas with a strong background in Internal Medicine. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of clinical experience managing adult patients and be comfortable working in a outpatient environment. Experience with EMR and familiarity with WellMed clinical workflows is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary and internal medicine care to adult patients.
  • Perform patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and lab results.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with Texas regulations.
  • Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease.
  • Document patient encounters accurately using EMR.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to coordinate patient care.
  • Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and preventive care.
  • Follow WellMed clinical protocols and quality standards when applicable.

Required

Qualifications

  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Texas.
  • Minimum 3 years of Internal Medicine experience in a clinical setting.
  • Proficiency with EMR.
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Preferred

Qualifications

  • Experience working within WellMed or familiarity with WellMed care models
  • Experience in value-based care environments.
