Position
Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner licensed in Texas with a strong background in Internal Medicine. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of clinical experience managing adult patients and be comfortable working in a outpatient environment. Experience with EMR and familiarity with WellMed clinical workflows is highly preferred.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary and internal medicine care to adult patients.
- Perform patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and lab results.
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with Texas regulations.
- Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease.
- Document patient encounters accurately using EMR.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and preventive care.
- Follow WellMed clinical protocols and quality standards when applicable.
Required
Qualifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Texas.
- Minimum 3 years of Internal Medicine experience in a clinical setting.
- Proficiency with EMR.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Preferred
Qualifications
- Experience working within WellMed or familiarity with WellMed care models
- Experience in value-based care environments.
