American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care Unit position requiring CO or compact license and night shift availability.
Details
- Work in the Intermediate Care Unit of a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule of 3x12hr shifts, 1900-0730
- May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
- May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- Active RN license, CO or compact, required
- Current BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications required, must not expire prior to start
- TNCC preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the specialty required
- ASN required, BSN preferred
- DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
- Provide health teaching, counseling, and therapeutic treatment
- Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Promote the mission, vision, and values of the health system
- Allow at least 2 weeks for background check and drug screen results using a designated vendor
- Report to the lab for drug screen within 24 hours of commitment
- Former permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this assignment
