How you'll make an impact in this role
- Deliver exceptional bedside care by aligning clinical practices with established organizational protocols to ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and patient comfort.
- Drive optimal recovery outcomes by diligently monitoring patient conditions, executing physician orders, and updating individualized care plans as health statuses evolve.
- Orchestrate cross-functional collaboration as the primary coordinator across medical disciplines, ensuring the entire healthcare team remains seamlessly aligned on patient needs.
- Advocate for patient safety through the real-time, accurate documentation and communication of critical condition updates to physicians and team members.
- Facilitate seamless patient transitions by proactively assessing discharge requirements and collaborating with families and healthcare teams to support long-term healing at home.
What minimum qualifications you'll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida required. Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
