The registered nurse plans, organizes and directs hospice care and is experienced in nursing, with emphasis on community health education/experience. The professional nurse builds from the resources of the community to plan and direct services to meet the needs of individual and families within their homes and communities.

Requirements
- Registered Nurse License in good standing to practice
- Driver's License with insured automobile in good working order
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Registered Nurse License in good standing to practice
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a professional nurse within the last three (3) years; OR baccalaureate degree in nursing with minimum of two (2) years' experience, at least one in public health, home care, or hospice nursing preferred
- CPR certification (may not be internet based unless demonstration of skills was hands on and observed by a certified trainer)
- BLS Certification
- Must be a licensed driver with an insured automobile in good working order
- Criminal background check required
- Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, basic math skills
