Overview
A Med Surg RN supporting a high-impact, multi-campus care team, dedicated to delivering personalized, evidence-based patient care, fostering teamwork, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the nursing process from assessment to evaluation, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Build meaningful relationships with patients and families, respecting their values and care goals. Create a safe, collaborative environment and participate in performance improvement projects. Mentor colleagues, promote ongoing education, and engage in research and evidence-based practices. Plan proactive care, optimize resource use, and contribute to protocol development for better patient experiences.
Qualifications & Skills
Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. Current RN license (single or multi-state), BLS, and ACLS certifications. Minimum of 2 years recent Med Surg experience and experience with computer data entry. Proficiency in communication, Microsoft Office, and technology tools. Ability to remain calm under pressure, with strong critical thinking and time management skills.
