About this role

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Behavioral Health (Psychiatric) unit position in Rochester, NH, requiring at least 2 years of experience and an active NH or compact RN license. 10-bed inpatient Behavioral Health unit within a hospital setting. Patient ratio of 3:1. Unit is staffed with RNs, LPNs, PCTs, a Recreational Therapist, and a Social Worker. Equipment includes mechanical lifts and Sara Steady. Charting is done in Meditech Expanse. 12-hour shifts with day and night shift options (6:00 AM–6:00 PM or 6:00 PM–6:00 AM). Alternating weekend requirement. Occasional floating may be required; traveler would serve in a helper role when floating. Assignment

  • Active NH or compact RN license required
  • Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment)
  • CPI certification required; SAMA, MAB, or ACPMA may be accepted in lieu of CPI
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in behavioral health or psychiatry
