Position Purpose AtSaint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, the Nursing Supervisor (House) serves as the on-site leadership presence during nights, weekends, and holidays. This role ensures safe, high-quality, patient-centered care across all units by coordinating nursing operations, supporting staff, and resolving clinical and administrative issues. The supervisor acts as a resource for nursing teams and collaborates with other departments to maintain continuity of care and operational efficiency.
What You Will Do
- Provide on-site nursing leadership during nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Support and guide nursing staff across departments.
- Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and patient flow.
- Resolve clinical and operational issues in real time.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
Minimum Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Current Connecticut RN license.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in inpatient acute care nursing (3+ years) and leadership roles such as Critical Care, Charge Nurse, or Assistant Nurse Manager (2+ years).
Preferred
- BLS or CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
- Fundamental Critical Care Support (FCCS).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).

- Compensation Range: $44.05 min - $70.50 max.
