Southeast Behavioral Hospital is excited to offer a full continuum of inpatient and outpatient services to the people of Southeast Missouri. Our 102-provides a wide range of mental, emotional and behavioral health services for children, teens, adults and seniors experiencing mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety and co-occurring substance use issues. Qualifications

Position

Summary

The LVN/LPN performs under the direction of a Registered Nurse in providing nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing basic understanding of psychiatric and personality disorders.

Qualifications

Education

Graduate from an accredited professional vocational school of nursing.

Experience

Minimum one (1) year as a LPN/LVN/LPT in psychiatric nursing preferred, with six (6) months experience in behavioral health

Licensure

Licensed to practice vocational/practical nursing from the State Board of Nursing

Additional

Requirements

CPR certification and successful completion of HWC including restraint and seclusion policies, within 30 days of employment and prior to assisting with restraining procedures.
