Assignment Overview Shift: Days, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Jul 20, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 3 American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU/CCU position in the Denver, CO area, requiring a minimum of 1 year of acute care ICU experience along with ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications.
Details ICU/CCU unit located on the 3rd floor of the main building of a hospital in the Denver, CO area 16-bed unit with a staff of approximately 60 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio Medical ICU and neuro patient population Common procedures include intubations and central line placement Equipment used includes cardiac monitors, ventilators, IV pumps, and tube feed pumps EMR: Meditech (prior experience preferred) Day shift: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM (12-hour shifts) PCT support available for census greater than 14 patients Requirements Active CO or Compact RN license required Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale Minimum 1 year of recent acute care ICU experience required A minimum of 2 years of total clinical experience is required for this facility US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted One professional reference required No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Experience with medical ICU and neuro patient populations is preferred Prior Meditech experience is preferred Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date AHA or ARC certifications are accepted
