Position

• Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)

• Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN opportunities available
• Service Area: Broward County only

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing services to patients in their homes according to the established plan of care.

• Complete comprehensive nursing assessments and reassessments.

• Monitor patient condition and identify changes requiring intervention or communication with the appropriate healthcare professional.

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered and within the RN's scope of practice.

• Provide wound care and other skilled nursing services as appropriate.

• Educate patients and caregivers regarding medications, disease management, safety, and self-care.

• Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, families, caregivers, and members of the interdisciplinary care team.

• Complete accurate, timely, and appropriate clinical documentation.

• Participate in care coordination and interdisciplinary communication.

• Follow agency policies and procedures and applicable Medicare, Florida, and regulatory requirements.

• Follow infection prevention and patient safety practices.

• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.

• Provide compassionate, culturally respectful, patient-centered care in the home environment.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license .

• Current BLS/CPR certification .

• Ability to provide safe and effective nursing care independently in the home setting.

• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.

• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to patient homes within the assigned service area.

• Ability to complete required clinical documentation accurately and on time.

• Home health experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.

The employee may choose which acceptable documents to present from the federal Form I-9 Lists of Acceptable Documents.

Applicants MUST bring ONE (1) COPY of each applicable document listed below.

Copies are REQUIRED and are not optional.

• Current Florida RN Nursing License

• Current BLS/CPR Certification

• All applicable professional licenses and certifications

• Specialty certifications, if applicable

• Current Physical Examination documentation

• Immunization/Vaccination Records

• TB screening documentation, if applicable

• Any other required healthcare licenses, certificates, registrations, or credentials applicable to the position
