What this might mean for you

MaineHealth is hiring for its own floors — no agency between you and the manager. The posted pay pencils out to roughly $90k–$122k a year, and there's a sign-on bonus on top. It's a day shift — the full-speed version of the unit, with every specialist in the building.

Worth asking

  • Which differentials apply for this shift, unit, weekends, holidays, or call?
  • What are the weekends, holidays, call, and rotation requirements?
  • What orientation, preceptor time, and ongoing unit support are included?
  • What patient load should I expect, how is floating handled, and what staffing support is typical?

The posting doesn’t answer these. Good ones to ask a recruiter or in the interview.
