Assignment Overview Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Aug 31, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac PCU/Stepdown position requiring a TX or compact RN license and cardiac drip titration experience

Details Work in the Cardiac PCU/Stepdown unit of an acute care hospital Unit functions as a cath lab recovery/observation area Patient population includes cardiac and general med/surg patients Uses Paragon EMR charting system Night shift schedule, 6:45pm-7am with every other weekend requirement 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week 13-week assignment length Requirements Active TX or compact RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Cardiac drip titration experience required Experience pulling sheaths and monitoring cath lab recovery sites required General med/surg patient care knowledge required BSN not required for this position Copy of driver's license required for consideration Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including dates of employment and rehire eligibility Additional Information Provide direct patient care in a cardiac stepdown/PCU setting including monitoring post-cath lab recovery patients Perform sheath pulls and site monitoring for cardiac patients Candidates may not have been directly employed by any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility, including CHI and Dignity, within the past year Candidates previously employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
