Registered Nurse - Operating Room - Full-Time

Position Overview

This nursing role involves providing high-level, patient-centered care within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. You will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, collaborating with team members to deliver age-appropriate treatments. The role requires strong communication skills, relationship-building, accountability, and a commitment to continuous professional development. You will supervise other staff, ensure accurate documentation, and promote a safe, therapeutic environment through safe medication and IV administration.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred
• Current Texas nursing license and Basic Life Support certification
• Minimum 12 months of RN experience or completion of a Nurse Residency Program
• Knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and care standards
• Ability to handle confidential information and work collaboratively
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and performance accountability skills
