About this role
Overview
Oversees the development and continuation of programs to support the Baptist mission. Works closely with physicians, patients, families and hospitals on issues to improve patient care. Serves as educator, liaison and coordinator for the program. Performs other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
Enhances the quality & effectiveness of nursing practice. Attains knowledge and competency that reflects current nursing practice. Interacts with and contributes to the professional development of peers and colleagues. Collaborates with the patient, family, and others in the conduct of nursing practice. Integrates ethical provisions in all areas of practice. Considers factors related to safety, effectiveness, cost and impact on practice in planning and delivery of nursing services. Provides leadership. Completes assigned goals.

3 years clinical nursing experience in acute care.

3 years clinical nursing experience in acute care preferably including at least one year of critical care.
