About this role

The WeCare Group, Inc., is currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner NP at our facility in Weaverville, California. Responsibilities

  • Provide primary care services to patients of all ages, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and older adults
  • Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical assessments
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests, medical imaging, and ophthalmology exams
  • Prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary
  • Perform minor surgical procedures
  • Provide family planning services and reproductive health care
  • Provide health coaching and education to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care

Requirements

  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of California
  • Masters Degree in Nursing with a specialization in Family Practice
  • Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner is a plus
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner
  • Knowledge of electronic health record systems
  • Proficiency in performing aseptic techniques and sterile processing
  • Familiarity with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and specimen collection processing
  • Experience in dementia care is preferred but not requiredExperience working in a Primary Setting, is preferred
  • Graduation from a nationally accredited Nurse Practitioner program (experience working in primary care/family medicine is a plus!)
  • CA Licensure/DEA/NPI
