The WeCare Group, Inc., is currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner NP at our facility in Weaverville, California. Responsibilities
- Provide primary care services to patients of all ages, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and older adults
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical assessments
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests, medical imaging, and ophthalmology exams
- Prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary
- Perform minor surgical procedures
- Provide family planning services and reproductive health care
- Provide health coaching and education to patients and their families
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
Requirements
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of California
- Masters Degree in Nursing with a specialization in Family Practice
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner is a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- Knowledge of electronic health record systems
- Proficiency in performing aseptic techniques and sterile processing
- Familiarity with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and specimen collection processing
- Experience in dementia care is preferred but not requiredExperience working in a Primary Setting, is preferred
- Graduation from a nationally accredited Nurse Practitioner program (experience working in primary care/family medicine is a plus!)
- CA Licensure/DEA/NPI
