As a Private Duty Nurse, you will serve a unique community of patients and make a positive impact on their quality of life, one patient at a time. Whether you are looking for a change from the overwhelming pace of your current hospital or clinic position, or just desire to supplement your current income with a few shifts per month- Strive looks forward to working for you.

*qualifications*

  • *Licensed in the state of Texas or qualifying Compact state as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse.*
  • Registered Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse must have reliable transportation; *must be able to reliably commute.*
  • Registered Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse with experience preferred but not required- tube feedings, Trach care, Ventilator management. Hands on training provided for complex diagnosis and equipment management.
  • Previous Private Duty Nursing experience as well as ICU, NICU, PICU experience with exposure to complex, Tracheostomy or Ventilator patients is a plus.
  • Registered Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse must successfully pass state required background screening
  • Registered Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse must successfully pass drug screening
  • Registered Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse must have effective communication skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional growth
