About this role
Join our nursing team in our independent 9-bed residential hospice! We are in search of a full or part time OVERNIGHT RN (7p-7a). The Fisher Home focuses on patient and family care, offering time for education and listening. *Responsibilities*
- Ability to complete a comprehensive assessment
- Communicate with the Medical Director to adjust medications as needed
- Provide support and comfort according to individual patient’s needs
- Alleviate sudden symptoms of the disease’s end phase utilizing the current plan of care
- Timely and accurate charting
- Medication management
*Skills*
- Experience as a hospice nurse
- Knowledge of nursing care processes and medication guidelines/side-effects
- Committed to safety precautions and high ethical standards
- Sound judgment and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate nature
*Requirements*
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse
- Access to reliable transportation
- Able to lift 50lb
- Current CPR certificate
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem Pay: $34.00 - $39.00 per hour
