Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of dialysis and care of patients during dialysis sessions; supervise dialysis technicians
- Provide patient education on dialysis treatment, process, and self-management
- Adjust treatment plans per standing orders and care plans; monitor patient outcomes
- Administer medications and participate in quality improvement projects
- Collaborate with the care team, including social workers, dietitians, and nephrologists, to support comprehensive patient care
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license for Washington or a Multi-State Compact license
- Current CPR with Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers via American Heart Association
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
- Previous dialysis experience required
- Prior experience in acute or ambulatory nursing preferred
- Ability to work at any clinic location on the peninsula and to cover AM/PM shifts as needed
