We are seeking a compassionate, highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide expert patient care in a 30-bed Critical Access Hospital, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal health outcomes.   • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed health histories to inform personalized care plans.
  • Administer medications and injections accurately, including IV infusions and medication management in accordance with physicians’ orders and safety protocols.
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, to document patient information meticulously and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform specialized procedures such as suturing, catheterization (including urinary and vascular), and sterile dressing changes following aseptic techniques.
  • Manage acute pain through appropriate interventions and monitor patients with a variety of needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams with skilled, non-skilled patients and out patients.
  • Educate patients and families on health conditions, medication administration, discharge planning, and lifestyle modifications to promote ongoing wellness.

*Experience*

  • Proven experience in diverse healthcare environments including hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or outpatient clinics.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic.
  • Prior roles involving acute care experience including trauma medicine is a plus.
  • Strong foundation in medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, physiology understanding, and patient assessment techniques essential for delivering high-quality nursing care across various specialties.
