Summary

The Staff Nurse is responsible for managing and providing care to the patient and his/her family, and for directing and supervising nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team. The Staff Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, delegating and evaluating the nursing care of patients in alignment with the professional practice model.

Unit Description: The Interventional Radiology Unit is a specialized area providing minimally invasive, image-guided procedures for a wide range of critical and life-saving conditions. The unit features 4 advanced fluoroscopy procedure rooms, as well as dedicated interventional CT and ultrasound imaging capabilities. A collaborative team of interventional radiologists, radiation technologists, nurses, and support staff work together to ensure safe, precise, and patient-centered care. The unit plays a key role in delivering timely interventions that reduce recovery time and improve outcomes across multiple specialties.

Minimum Qualifications

For Hire

2- year College Degree in Nursing from a CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited nursing program is required. Bachelor’s degree in nursing with a major in Nursing from a CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited nursing program is preferred. Current Ohio license or interim permit required. 2 years of experience in relevant care setting is preferred.

On-going: Maintains current Ohio RN license. Meets mandatory educational and health requirements. Demonstrates computer skills required to meet job functions.
