About this role

Single Call is part of the Carolinas Hospitalist Group and is a unique team of nurses that triages admissions and manages patient flow for internal medicine across the Greater Charlotte Market. Patient Flow Coordinators triage internal medicine admissions for hospitalists at CMC, Cabarrus, and the Virtual Hospital Medicine teams. It is a non-patient facing clinical role involving intensive chart reviews, coordination with physicians, and the ability to switch tasks rapidly across different technologies. PT Days

  • 12 hour shifts, 2 shifts a week, about every third weekend, primarily remote. Must live within 1 hour of Charlotte NC area.

Requirements

  • RN
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • 2 years of RN experience and prior triage and ED experience preferred
  • BSN preferred
