About this role
Department: 35453 Atrium Health Cabarrus - Nursing: Cardiac Observation Unit. Full time, 36 hours per week, FT 7P-7A 3 days a week with weekend rotation. The Medical Observation Unit (23 beds) and Cardiac Observation Unit (10 beds) care for adult patients with medical, surgical, cardiac, neurological diagnoses with anticipated length of stay of 24-48 hours. RN plays pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care. Uses evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skilled communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience.

Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Not for a new grad nurse - experience required
- Experience working with cardiac care patients
- Experience working with individuals with neurological conditions
