Medication Nurse (LPN or RN)
River Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a dependable and compassionate Medication Nurse (LPN or RN) to join our nursing team. The Medication Nurse will provide safe, timely, and compassionate medication administration and treatments to skilled nursing facility residents while helping maintain a high standard of resident care.

Schedule
- 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
- Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
- Shifts Available: Day Shift and Second Shift
Responsibilities
Administer medications to residents safely and accurately according to physician orders and facility policies.
Perform treatments and procedures as ordered and within the nurse's scope of practice.
Monitor residents for changes in condition, medication effectiveness, and potential adverse reactions.
Communicate resident changes and concerns to the appropriate members of the healthcare team.
Accurately document medication administration, treatments, and resident care.
Follow infection control, medication management, and safety procedures.
Assist with maintaining accurate and up-to-date resident records.
Provide compassionate, respectful, and person-centered care to skilled nursing residents.
Work collaboratively with CNAs, nurses, physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Follow all applicable state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Current and valid LPN or RN license in the state of Kentucky.
Previous nursing experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred.
Strong medication administration and clinical skills.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Dependable, compassionate, and committed to providing quality resident care.
Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
