Company

Overview

The vision for Plum began in the fall of 2019 during a dinner shared by Amanda and Ryan. While enjoying their meal, they overheard a couple discussing the challenges they faced in finding pediatric care for their four-month-old son. This poignant moment sparked a conversation that would grow into a profound calling.

As a provider working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Amanda understands firsthand the difficulties parents encounter when seeking pediatric healthcare services. This challenge is even more pronounced for those searching for a passionate, dedicated provider to care for their child. Amanda also recognized a significant gap in the specialized care that NICU graduates require for their ongoing development.

In response to the needs of the Midland/Odessa metro area, Plum was born. Designed from the ground up to be nimble, focused, and above all, passionate, Plum aims to bridge this gap. Our team embraces each day as an opportunity to enhance our care approaches, empowering every member to take action in support of this goal. As an organization, we boldly move forward hand in hand with the families we serve, committed to shaping the future of pediatric care.

Our Mission: We make a complex health system simple by devoting our attention to the details that improve our patients’ lives.

Our Vision: “Little humans are the core of our humanity. Our children deserve a health system that relentlessly cares for their body and mind. Plum Pediatrics calling is to challenge the status quo by deploying innovated healthcare solutions backed by proved systems all while encapsulating patient interactions with an unmatched level of passion.”
