_*Summary of Responsibilities*_

The Registered Nurse plays an integral role at our Residential Treatment Facility by working in a collaborative team environment to provide exceptional care for adults with severe and persistent mental illness. The Registered Nurse will provide direct and indirect patient care to ensure safe and efficient mental health stability. The Registered Nurse will use their knowledge and critical thinking to communicate and coordinate with physicians, psychotherapists, management, and the care team about the patient’s needs based off their condition.

This may include head to toe assessment and evaluation, medication management, and wound care. Patience, critical thinking, and the ability to communicate both written and verbally are imperative for this role. By using their knowledge, the Registered Nurse will take into consideration the patient’s age, mental and behavioral health history, and cultural diversity to provide trauma informed care effectively and respectfully.

Our smaller 16 bed facility ensures that the Registered Nurse can quickly connect with our patients, guarantee patient dignity, and make a positive lasting impression.

_*Qualifications*_

  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Oregon.
  • Two (2) years of registered nursing experience in psychiatric setting preferred.
  • Obtain and maintain current BLS CPR.
  • Licensed driver with an automobile that is in good working order to get to and from work in all weather conditions to ensure reliability.
