RN Charge Nurse Med/Surg- Days

Provides support and information to the interdisciplinary team when problems arise with families, physicians, or other caregivers. Serves as a role model by collaborating with staff and physicians. Coordinates orientation of newly assigned staff with preceptors and facilitates clinical experiences.

Participates in the development and review of departmental policies and procedures, recommending revisions. Acts on behalf of the Nurse Manager when necessary. Performs other duties as assigned.
