- Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state
- Valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state
- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience preferred; recent patient contact within last 3 years (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to cope with emotional stress
- Ability to supervise nursing staff and respond to crises outside hospital settings
- Completion of hospice training program required (or willingness to complete)
- Physical capability to perform essential duties, including lifting patients up to 100 pounds and tolerating exposure to elements like odors, blood, and body fluids
