RN - Endoscopy

As an RN in Endoscopy, you will deliver exceptional care throughout the patient care journey for patients undergoing minimally invasive gastrointestinal and pulmonary procedures. In this role, you will manage the full patient care cycle, including preparing patients, administering sedation, assisting physicians during procedures, monitoring vital signs, and providing post-procedure care and education. You will care for a high volume of general GI cases in both outpatient and inpatient settings, as well as advanced procedures including ERCP, EUS, and procedures involving the pancreas, bile ducts, and liver ducts or biopsies.

You will also support general pulmonary procedures such as bronchoscopy and robotic-assisted procedures to access the lungs.

Throughout the patient experience, you will work closely with patients and their families, providing compassionate care, support, and education to help ensure safe and positive outcomes.

A caregiver in this role works day shifts from 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., with on-call requirements.

A caregiver who excels in this role will

Provide direct nursing care. Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans. Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions. Administer prescribed medications and treatments. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs. Educate patients and their families.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program) Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross *If in a Critical Care area an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) Certification or ALS through American Red Cross must be presented upon hire or within first year of employment One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include

Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) Critical care or ICU experience

Requirements

Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patient, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions and irregular hours. Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids. Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $35.50 Maximum hourly: $55.60
