*Duties*
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to inform care plans.
- Assist with bathing, dressing, hygiene, toileting, and transfer.
- Experience with Trachea tube
- Assist with complex medical procedures such as finger sticks and colostomy bag
- Knowledgeable about diabetic care
- Provide specialized care for individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs in various settings such as assisted living or home & community care.
*Requirements*
- Valid state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse with current certification to practice.
- Proven experience in critical care environments such as ICU or Level I Trauma Centers is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and diagnostic evaluation procedures.
- Experience in diverse clinical areas such as emergency medicine, urgent care, hospice care, pediatrics (including neonatal ventilator management), geriatrics (including memory and dementia care), or medical-surgical units.
- Skilled in patient assessment techniques like venipuncture, phlebotomy, specimen collection/processing, and sterile processing procedures.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals of all ages and backgrounds—including children with Toddler or Neonatal needs—and those with disabilities or complex health conditions.
